It's been a while since I blogged. The reason? I've been working against publishing deadlines on a new book Tony and I have been writing. Called "The Rabbit and the Elephant," it is an exploration of what is happening in simple churches in the West. It is being published by Tyndale House Publishers and is due out in June.

You’ve whetted my appetite! I’m absolutely fascinated to find out what is out there..I only know of our own expression of doing simple church here in our small British town, (church is a verb not a noun in our expression!) and also the spirit of the fellowship on the Yahoo site, newwineskins, online. We have generally been too busy (and broke), even to get out of town so I know of nothing else in the UK, that is like us, but then I have been buried here for 2 decades.
