I just finished re-reading “There’s a Sheep in My Bathtub” by Brian Hogan. This new book chronicles the Hogan family’s missionary adventures in Mongolia during the 1990’s when they saw a church planting movement begin. It is a gripping story that is hard to put down. I found myself alternately laughing aloud and weeping. But more than just a good story, Brian sets out many principles of church planting and discipleship that we would all do well to learn from. All of us involved in church planting would benefit from learning the lessons that he discovered (often the hard way).
