Women evangelists build uniquely Christian communities on relationships, often under very dangerous circumstances. Once Christianity has been officially accepted the hierarchical males come in, instituionalize the movement and rebuild the community on “principles” rather than relationship and the conflict between the priests and the prophets begins.
