Momentum: basics and beyond

For many of us involved in simple/organic/house churches, an annual highlight is the National House Church Conference, which takes place this year in Jacksonville, Florida over Labor Day weekend. The title of the conference is "Momentum." I'm especially excited this year because some of my favorite people are going to be speaking.

Neil Cole has (via CMA) trained over 40,000 people in how to start organic churches, with a special emphasis on working in the harvest. Author of several books, (Organic Church, Church 3.0, Journeys to Significance) he is uniquely qualified as an insider to speak on the subject of movement and momentum.

Frank Viola is best known for his books (think Pagan Christianity, Reimagining Church, From Eternity to Here). I especially appreciate Frank's focus on the centrality of Jesus and the importance of His headship in the church.

Wolfgang Simson never fails to challenge me. His prophetic edge is legendary. He knows more about what is going on around the world than anyone else I know.

Added to that there will be breakouts that will tackle topics that have relevance to everyone–from those just beginning to think about simple/organic church, to those who have been involved for years. We are also planning to have denominational leaders who are actively promoting house churches within their denominations as well as legacy church leaders who see simple/organic church as the way to do mission.
